Mediacurser

Mediacurser is a powerful media manager database application. It was originally written to use with psuedo-transparent terminal emulators, and has expanded to include a media web server and other useful features:

• Usable on terminals as small as 80x25
• Media application agnostic - not tied to any particular application, and doesn't force you to use any integrated player.
• Supports metainfo tagging of all file types - not just mp3 and ogg.
• In the same vein: equally useful for organizing music, videos, ebooks, etc.
• Supports importing mp3 and ogg tags via taglib.
• Able to organize files into playlists, arranged by trees.
• Simple yet powerful search interface.
• Web interface for serving file over a local network.
